The September 2026 release extends the timeline with inline editing, so cultivations, fertilizer applications, harvests and soil analyses can be added, changed, moved and deleted from the timeline itself. It also adds attachments to the helpdesk, allows existing BodemConditieScore assessments to be edited, and makes the selected calendar year behave more consistently across the dashboards and the atlas. Under the hood, Microsoft sign-in has moved to the Better Auth social flow, which requires a configuration change for installations that use it. Gerrit now carries AI transparency disclosures, and the release includes a set of dependency migrations, among them TanStack Table 9 and Sentry 11.

The August 2026 release makes it easier to see which BLN3 measure will help most: measures are now ranked by their predicted impact, while bufferstroken and natuurpercelen are excluded from the calculations altogether. It further reworks the stikstofgebruiksnorm, which is now accumulated per teelt over the calendar year following RVO Tabel 2 rather than calculated for the hoofdteelt alone, with corrected vanggewas and winterteelt classification for the Article 28d korting and an explanation of every norm shown in the interface. Alongside these, the release adds per-cut nutrient advice for grassland, records a verified relationship between a user and a farm when fields are retrieved from RVO through eHerkenning, stores generated bemestingsplan PDFs in Google Cloud Storage, and makes Gerrit more aware to check its own plans against the nutrient advice.

The July 2026 release centres on a new field dashboard that brings the map, cultivations, fertilization, gebruiksruimte, balansen, soil data, indicators and maatregelen of a single field together on one page, supported by a reworked sidebar and navigation. It further introduces end-to-end support for Renure, from the RVO mestcodes and default catalogue products to the 2026 gebruiksnorm and Gerrit's fertilizer strategies, adds a farm-level Tijdlijn with a dedicated mobile view, a Teeltassistent that proposes a missing hoofdteelt based on BRP data, and the Nitrogen Supplying Capacity (NLV) as a calculated soil parameter. Alongside these, the release makes BLN3 measures aware of where they apply, replaces the farm-level nutrient advice overview with a datatable, extends the Helpdesk with inbound email, agent schedules and automatic ticket routing, adds profile pictures and organization logos, brings the 2026 fields and cultivations into the catalogues, and moves the whole monorepo to TypeScript v7.

The June 2026 release adds the BodemConditieScore (BCS) as a new visual soil analysis feature across the stack, reworks how Gerrit assists with fertilizer planning, redesigns the BLN3 soil quality views around official NMI API aggregations, and introduces an in-app Helpdesk for support. The release also improves the grassland harvest workflow, hardens shapefile import validation, switches Microsoft sign-in to certificate-based authentication, and includes a range of navigation and engineering improvements.

The May 2026 release introduces the FDM REST API as a generally available package, adds BLN3 soil quality indicators and measures across the stack, and brings a dedicated Soil Analysis view to the Atlas. Gerrit has been migrated from the Google Agent Development Kit to LangChain with an upgrade to Gemini 3.5 Flash, and developers can now manage API keys through a new Developer Settings page. The release also includes a number of hotfixes that have been published since the April 2026 release.

The April 2026 release reworks how fertilizer application amounts are recorded and displayed — moving from a single kg/ha convention to fertilizer-native units — and introduces a new Mineralisatie Labs feature backed by a Mineralization module in fdm-calculator. RVO field import becomes available to all users, the Atlas gains an advanced cultivation history view, and Gerrit receives a crop-specific preferences skill and a field-level plan explanation. The release also includes a number of performance, reliability, and tooling improvements that have been published as hotfixes since the previous release.

The March 2026 release introduces two new packages — fdm-rvo for connecting to the Dutch RVO agricultural registry and fdm-agents with an AI-assisted fertilizer planning tool in Labs — alongside a substantial rework of the fertilizer management interface, organization-level balance visualizations, and several data quality corrections in the fertilizer catalogue.

The February 2026 release brings three major workflow improvements: uploading and reviewing multiple soil analyses in one go, editing harvest data and fertilizer applications directly from the rotation table, and a new invitation system that allows non-registered users to be invited to a farm before they sign up. The release also adds a carbon sequestration card to the Atlas and two new SOM-based calculator functions.

The January 2026 release includes buffer strip support, updated grassland regulation logic, and the new "Bemestingsplan" PDF export. Key changes also include the integration of the BRO Soil Map and a refactor of the balance calculation engine to support field-level caching.

As we approach the end of the year, the December release of the Farm Data Model (FDM) focuses on looking ahead to 2026 while refining the tools you use today. We have upgraded our Nitrogen Balance insights with deeper breakdowns and integrated high-resolution AHN4 elevation data into the Atlas. Additionally, we've introduced initial support for the 2026 Dutch fertilizer application norms, acting as a placeholder while final political decisions are still pending. Under the hood, we've improved type safety across our packages and streamlined the authentication experience.
